Are sessions in person or virtual?
All services are provided virtually through secure telehealth. I do not offer in-person sessions at this time. Telehealth services are available for clients located in Wisconsin and Florida.

Yes. in addition to working with Wisconsin residents, Adam Hunt, MSW, LCSW is a registered out-of-state telehealth provider for clients located in Florida. Provider registration information is available through the Florida Department of Health.

What are the fees and payment options?
I offer both private-pay and insurance-based services.

For clients using insurance, session rates are determined by the agreements between your insurance provider and my billing partner, Alma. Alma handles insurance billing on my behalf. Your out-of-pocket costs, such as copays, coinsurance, or deductibles, depend on your individual insurance plan. I encourage you to verify your mental health benefits with your insurance provider so you understand any potential expenses in advance. Payment is due at the time of service and can be made through the secure patient portal. All major credit cards are accepted.

What is a session like?
Starting therapy can make people nervous, so I do my best to be down to earth and help you feel comfortable. Because all sessions are held virtually through secure telehealth, we will begin by making sure the technology is working and reviewing your paperwork so we are clear about policies and expectations. We will spend time getting to know each other, talking about your history, what brought you to therapy, and the goals you want to work toward. You will have plenty of space to ask questions. If time allows, we may also begin exploring some of the concerns that brought you in so I can better understand how to help.
