I use a variety of techniques and theoretical orientations in my sessions. However, in particular, I like using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy & Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as they both have a wide range of applications, and research shows they are highly effective in helping most people live true to their values. I also enjoy using Solution-Focused Brief Therapy as it often helps resolve issues rapidly, and has a very goal-centered focus versus a problem-centered focus. I tap into other types of therapy to help as well, depending on what I think will best help you reach your goals.
